Pittsburgh Parade Day Dash
The Pittsburgh Parade Day Dash is the third annual Parade Day run held in Pittsburgh on March 13, 2027. The event takes place just before Pittsburgh’s America’s Grand St. Patrick’s Day Event and is presented as a family-friendly celebration with both in-person and virtual participation options.
The event includes these distances:
- 5K
- 1 Mile Family Fun Run/Walk
Registration for timed events includes a limited edition green hoodie, a finisher medal, and a race bib. Virtual participants receive mailed race items. The course pace limit is 20 minutes per mile. Strollers and dogs are permitted only on the 1 mile course; service animals may be allowed with prior approval. Bicycles, skateboards, scooters, roller skates, and rollerblades are not permitted on the course.
Additional event features include a costume contest with judged winners, Brooks Lucky Stride scratch-off cards with prizes at the finish area, and awards for the 5K including top three male, top three female, top three non-binary, and age group awards for standard age brackets. Small food items provided during the event are bananas and water. Gear check is available with race-issued clear bags and collection at the finish area.
