Soles for Songs 5K takes place on Saturday, March 28, 2026, in Oakdale, Pennsylvania. The event benefits the South Hills Children's Choir scholarship fund. Logistics and rules
Early registration on or before 03/06/26 is $30 (+ processing fee); late registration after 03/06/26 is $40 (+ processing fee). Free parking is available in the Helicon Brewing paved lot, with additional grass parking on both sides of the brewery entrance. Restrooms in the Helicon Brewing building will be available.
The aid station at the start/finish offers water and food items. Additional water-only aid stations are located at the 0.8 mile and 2.3 mile marks at the Scotch Hill Road crossing. Early registrants receive a t-shirt and a goodies bag; late registrants are not guaranteed a shirt or bag.
This event is held on a public rail-trail and will be shared with non-participants. Participants are asked to keep to the right, run no more than two abreast, allow room on the left for passing, pick up after pets, do not use bikes on the course, and keep race bibs visible on the front of the body.
