Haunted 5K, 10K, and 13.1M at Knoxville, TN
The event takes place at 3300 Holston Hills Road, Knoxville, Tennessee. It offers three road-race distances with a common starting area near Shelter #1. Registration is handled through RunSignup and there is no on-site registration. Packet pickup opens 30 minutes before the race and closes 10 minutes before the race start.
Course layouts use short out-and-back segments repeated multiple times. The 5K and 10K use a 0.78 mile segment; one out-and-back equals 1.56 miles. The 5K completes that out-and-back twice and the 10K completes it four times. The half marathon uses a 1.09 mile segment; one out-and-back equals 2.18 miles and the half marathon repeats it six times. The published course time limit is 3 hours and 30 minutes.
