Urban Wilderness 50k
The Urban Wilderness 50k is a trail race in south Knoxville that offers a multiterrain course and a shorter 7 Miler option. The inaugural race day is scheduled for October 10. The route features flowy singletrack, technical rock sections, and sustained climbing.
The course covers approximately 31 miles with nearly 4,000 ft of elevation gain. Runners follow a mix of singletrack, double track, and short road connectors, with no repeated laps. Aid stations are placed throughout the course to provide support. Event operations include late packet pickup and race day check in.
