Event Overview
The Run More, Judge Less event is a community run hosted by the organization Mile in My Shoes (MiMS). It will be held at the Minnesota State Fairgrounds in St. Paul on June 11, 2026.
Event Details
The event is described as an inclusive community gathering focused on belonging and making running accessible to people historically excluded from traditional running spaces. It features multiple in-person distances for 2026: a 5K, a 1-mile race (in partnership with Midsummer Mile), and a free kids' quarter-mile run. A virtual 5K option is also available. A post-race party is planned with refreshments like Kemps chocolate milk, Johnny Pops, and fruit, as well as custom cookie medals and a finisher photo area.
Race Schedule
A schedule is provided for the in-person events on June 11. Packet pickup and race day registration open at 4:30 PM. This is followed by a welcome and group warm-up at 6:00 PM. The kids' race starts at 6:30 PM, the Midsummer Mile at 6:40 PM, and the 5K at 7:00 PM. A post-race cool down with Karuna Yoga is scheduled for 7:45 PM.
Accessibility and Fundraising
The event operates a Freedom to Move Fund, offering unlimited free scholarship race entries to reduce financial barriers. Participants can also fundraise for the organization, with proceeds supporting Mile in My Shoes programming. Parking is available in the designated Camel Lot at the north end of the fairgrounds.
