Michelle Bonura Memorial 5K Run/Walk
The Michelle Bonura Memorial 5K is a community run and walk held in Shoreham, New York. The event supports the Michelle Bonura Memorial Foundation and the Michelle Bonura Scholarship Fund, which awards scholarships to high school students pursuing careers in physical education. The foundation also supports nonprofit organizations.

Event services include finisher medals for all participants, electronic timing with age graded results, free finish line photos and finisher certificates, and a top quality tech shirt with a guaranteed shirt cutoff date of May 15. Refreshments include bagels, pizza, bananas, ice cream, snacks, cookies and drinks. Registered participants are entered in a free raffle with gift certificates for over 50 winners; a personalized bib is available for those who register three weeks in advance. Virtual participants can receive their bib by mail within the event shipping window.
Awards cover a range of categories: top three male and female overall with plaques and cash prizes, age group medals across standard divisions, masters and senior masters age graded plaques, wheelchair awards, and team competition prizes.
