Junior Proms Dash 3K Winter Series 2026/2027
The Junior Proms Dash 3K Winter Series is a sequence of junior 3 km races held on the Beach Esplanade in Aberdeen. All profits from the series will go to Abernecessities. The races are promoted under SAL rules and the course has been measured by a Jones counter. The meeting point is on the promenade, 150 metres north of the Beach Leisure Centre.
The series lists the following dates: October 9th, November 20th, December 11th, January 15th 2027, February 12th and March 19th. Total places for the event listing are 110.
Entries are open to Primary 5 pupils and older (age 9 and upwards). The entry fee is £2 per race and entrants must register for each race; registration is by pre entry only and no entries are taken on the day. Race numbers are collected on the day and entrants are asked to report to registration at each race to confirm participation. Entrants should keep the same race number for the series. Entrants may transfer a booked place to another competitor by notifying the organisers and providing full details of the substitute.
Overall series standings use accumulated times from three races and series prizes are awarded in various categories. Results will be posted on the NESAP Facebook group. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
