Event overview
The Aberdeen Santa Run is a 5 km fun run along Aberdeen Beach Front on 14 December 2025. The event is described as a fun run, not a race, and is open to people who run, walk or crawl. Santa suits are provided to all signed-up participants, and every finisher receives a medal. A finish line clock will be present but no official timings will be given. The event is family friendly; children under eleven must be accompanied within arm's reach by a parent, guardian or appropriate adult. Children under five may join for free if accompanied. Donations of food will be collected on the day for Aberdeen Cyrenians' Food Bank.
Route and entry
The route starts from the Footdee end of the beach and heads north along the lower prom, passing Codonas and the Beach Ballroom. It returns along the upper prom, then drops back down to the lower prom to the finish. There are steps from the lower prom to the upper prom at the halfway point; marshals can assist with buggies, or participants may choose to return by the lower prom. Early bird entry is £16 until 12 October 2025; standard entry is £20 for adults and £14 for under 14s. Entries close on 8 December 2025. Status is listed as open.
