10th Annual Run for Resilience Ostomy 5k - Meridian, ID
The 10th Annual Run for Resilience Ostomy 5k takes place on October 4, 2026 at Julius M. Kleiner Memorial Park, Shelter A, 1900 N Records Ave, Meridian, Idaho. The event is held in recognition of World Ostomy Day weekend and supports the United Ostomy Associations of America, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit; donations are tax deductible.
This event offers a 5 kilometer fun run. Registration information lists an entry fee of $30 and registration opens March 30, 2026 and closes July 25, 2026. The registration package includes a unisex adult or youth T-shirt, a bib with timing chip, and a runner swag bag. Registration bags will include ostomy education materials and an ostomy pouch provided by sponsors; non-ostomate participants may wear the pouch to increase awareness.
The exact 5k route map is included in registration packets and posted in the registration area. Packet pickup details are to be determined. There is ample free parking at the park. Prizes are planned for the top male and top female overall and the top male and top female ostomates.
Fundraising incentives include a refund of the registration fee for participants who raise $150 or more, plus tiered fundraising levels at $250 and $450 with awards to be announced.
