Event Overview
The Memorial Day Run & March is held at America The Beautiful Park in Colorado Springs, Colorado. It is organized by the Special Forces Foundation. The event welcomes civilians, veterans, and uniformed military personnel. Children 12 and under can enter the fairgrounds and any route for free, though a timing bib, medal, and shirt are not included in the free entry.
Route Options
Participants can choose from three routes:
- 5k: This is a run or ruck option.
- 10k: This is a run or ruck option.
- 30k: This is a ruck-only option.
The event encourages participants to bring dry goods to donate, which help feed homeless veterans. For the 30k Ruck March, carrying a 25-pound rucksack filled with dry good donations is required to complete the challenge and qualify for the Norwegian Foot March Badge.
