Format and course
The race uses a handicap format based on age, gender, height, and weight. Handicaps are converted to seconds and determine staggered start times; the order of finish reflects the handicapped standings. Actual running times are also recorded. The course has a short section of concrete at the beginning and end; the remainder is on dirt trails. The route is described as fairly flat with very little elevation gain.
Registration and fees
Registration closes at 5:00 PM on April 17, 2026. No race day registration is available. A listed price for the event is $22.20 (includes a $2.20 fee). Discounts are available for PPRR/SCR members, military, and first responders; member discounts are applied at checkout and some groups are asked to contact the organizer prior to registration to receive a discount code.
Rules and awards
No strollers, headphones or earbuds, or pets are allowed. Races may be cancelled for extremely bad weather; refunds are not provided for cancellations. Trophies are awarded to the first three finishers after handicap adjustment. Parking is available at the park; parking on curbs is prohibited and vehicles may be towed.
