Run Through The Decades 6K/7K/8K/Half - Colorado Springs
The Run Through The Decades event takes place April 11, 2026 at Cottonwood Creek Park in Colorado Springs, CO 80918. The event offers in-person and virtual options and honors music from the 1960s, 1970s, and 1980s through three themed courses.
Distances available:
- 6K for the 1960s
- 7K for the 1970s
- 8K for the 1980s
- Half Marathon completed by running the 6K, then the 7K, then the 8K
All participants receive a custom finisher medal. Awards are given in standard five year age groups beginning at 10 and under, and include top overall placements plus masters and senior masters categories. Water stations are provided approximately every 1.5 miles along the courses.
Virtual participants may run where and when they choose, submit a finish time by the end of race day, and receive shipped virtual packages the Monday after the event with US continental shipping only. RaceJoy is provided for live GPS tracking, progress alerts, and audio cheers; runners must carry their phone and enable tracking to use those features.
