Melissa O'Leary Splash Bash Memorial Run 2026
The event is scheduled for Saturday, May 23, 2026, at Woodstock Water Works on Kishwaukee Valley Road in Woodstock, Illinois. It features a 5K run/walk and a 1 Mile Family Water Run. Registration is required to participate; registration for one of the races is required to take part in the 1 Mile Family Water Run.

Event capacity is limited to the first 600 registered participants. Shirt sizes are guaranteed for participants who register by April 28, 2026. Shirt and race number pick up will be available on the Friday before the event at Woodstock Water Works and on the morning of the event.
Awards for the 5K include a plaque and a $75 gift certificate to the Running Depot in Crystal Lake for overall male and female winners. Medals will be awarded to the top three finishers in each age and gender division, and participation medals will also be given. The 5K age divisions include 8 and under, 9 to 11, 12 to 14, 15 to 19, 20 to 29, 30 to 39, 40 to 49, 50 to 59, 60 to 69, and 70 plus.
Free swimming and refreshments are provided for runners and their families following the races. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
