Melissa O'Leary Splash Bash Memorial Run 2026
The Melissa O'Leary Splash Bash Memorial Run 2026 takes place in Woodstock, Illinois, at the Woodstock Water Works facility located on Kishwaukee Valley Road. This community event offers two primary distances for participants:
- 5K Run/Walk
- 1-Mile Family Water Run
The race is limited to the first 600 registered participants. For those participating in the 1-Mile Family Water Run, registration in one of the event categories is required. The 5K course is open to various age divisions, starting from 8 and under up to ages 70 and older.
Participants who register by April 28, 2026, are guaranteed an event t-shirt in their preferred size. Packet pickup, including shirts and race numbers, is available on the evening before the race at Woodstock Water Works, as well as on the morning of the event.
The event includes an awards ceremony for the 5K category. Recognition is given to the overall male and female winners, and medals are provided to the top three finishers in each age and gender division. Participation medals are also distributed. Following the athletic events, runners and their families have access to free swimming and refreshments at the aquatic center for a designated period.
