McKinney Historic Half
The McKinney Historic Half Presented by BMW is an inaugural road race in McKinney, Texas on March 28, 2026, hosted in partnership with TUPPS Brewery. The course is routed to showcase the city’s historic downtown, scenic neighborhoods, and park system.
The event program includes:
- Half Marathon
- 5K
- Kid's 100-Meter Dash
Proceeds from the event benefit Scottish Rite for Children of Frisco. Participant items listed by the organizer include a tri-blend short sleeve participant shirt, a finisher medallion for all finishers, and a long-sleeve performance finisher shirt for Half Marathon finishers. Personalized race bibs were offered to registrants who signed up by February 28, and an optional iTAB medal personalization is available after the race.
Event rules follow guidelines from USA Track & Field and Wheelchair Sports USA; only runners, walkers, and wheelchair participants are permitted on the course. Runners must be 16 years or older to enter the Half Marathon. Awards are given to top finishers across 18 categories. The event also includes a post race party hosted by TUPPS Brewery with music, food, beverages, and complimentary beer for participants aged 21 and over.
