Event Overview
The McKinney Historic Half is an inaugural running event scheduled for March 28, 2026. The event is hosted by TUPPS Brewery and presented by BMW. Proceeds from the event benefit Scottish Rite for Children in Frisco.
Distances
The event offers three race distances:
- Half Marathon
- 5K
- Kid's 100-Meter Dash
The half marathon is open to participants aged 16 and older.
Course & Participant Details
The route is described as showcasing McKinney's historic downtown, scenic neighborhoods, and park system. All finishers receive a medallion. Half marathon finishers also receive a long-sleeve performance blend finisher shirt. All participants receive a tri-blend short sleeve shirt and a personalized race bib if registered by February 28, 2026.
A post-race party is hosted by TUPPS Brewery and includes music, food, beverages, and complimentary beer for participants aged 21 and over. Pace teams for the half marathon are provided by the Dallas Running Club.
Registration & Logistics
Packet pickup is available on specific dates at Scottish Rite for Children in Frisco and at TUPPS Brewery in McKinney. There is no race morning packet pickup. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
