McKinney Historic Half
The McKinney Historic Half is a road running event presented by BMW and hosted by TUPPS Brewery that highlights McKinney’s historic downtown, neighborhoods and parks. The event features multiple distances and donates proceeds to Scottish Rite for Children of Frisco. It is part of the Dallas White Rock Marathon portfolio.

- Half Marathon
- 5K
- Kid’s 100-Meter Dash
Participant benefits include a cotton blend short sleeve participant shirt, a finisher medallion, and a long sleeve performance finisher shirt for half marathon finishers. Personalized race bibs are available for those who register by February 28. An optional medal personalization service (iTAB) is available for an additional fee. An official race photo and video package is offered as a paid option. A post-race party with music, food, beverages and a complimentary finisher beer for participants aged 21 and over is part of the event.
Race rules follow guidelines from USA Track & Field and Wheelchair Sports USA; only runners, walkers and wheelchair participants are allowed on course. Half marathon entrants must be at least 16 years old. The Dallas Running Club provides pace teams with even-split pacing and target finish times ranging from 1:30 to 3:00.
