Celina Turkey Trot
The Celina Turkey Trot takes place in downtown Celina at 127 N. Ohio Street, Celina, TX 75009 on November 26, 2026. The event includes multiple running options and on-site music. A portion of proceeds benefits Lovepacs, an organization that works to feed children in need.
Available distances:
- 10K road race with awards for overall, masters, and age groups.
- 5K road race with awards for overall, masters, and age groups.
- One mile family fun run/walk for participants of all ages.
For the 10K and 5K, awards are given for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place male and female in overall and masters categories. Age group awards, three deep, will be given for these groups: 14 and under; 15-19; 20-24; 25-29; 30-34; 35-39; 40-44; 45-49; 50-54; 55-59; 60-64; 65-69; 70 and over. A prize is offered for the best turkey costume; the prize is a family four pack to Miracle on 134th Street in Celina.
Registration opens in late April 2026 and closes on November 26, 2026. The event is presented by REX Real Estate. Information about packet pick-up and start times is to be announced.
The event is part of a Holiday Bundle called the Epic Race Trilogy, which packages this race with the Grinch Gallop and Resolution Run. Bundle registration must occur before the Celina Turkey Trot to receive bundle benefits. A custom wooden running shoe plaque reflecting total 2026 mileage will be available for pickup at the Resolution Run on January 1, 2027.
