Celina Turkey Trot
The Celina Turkey Trot, presented by REX Real Estate, takes place in downtown Celina at 127 N. Ohio Street on November 26, 2026. The event combines running with music, family activities, and awards. Participants are encouraged to wear Thanksgiving-themed costumes.
Distances offered include:
- 10K Celina Turkey Trot 10K
- 5K Celina Turkey Trot 5K
- 1 Mile Family Fun Run/Walk
Registration fees listed for the event are $57.50 for the 10K, $42.50 for the 5K, and $32.50 for the 1 mile. For the 10K and 5K, awards are given for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place male and female in overall and masters categories. Age-group awards, three deep, are offered for groups from 14 & under up to 70 & over. There is a prize for best turkey costume; the winner receives a family four-pack to Miracle on 134th Street in Celina.
A portion of proceeds will benefit Lovepacs; Lovepacs aims to engage communities to feed children in need as an expression of love.
Packet pick-up is at the Celina Police Department, 3025 S Coit Road, Celina, TX 75009, on the following days and times: Friday November 20 8:00am-5:00pm, Monday November 23 8:00am-5:00pm, and Tuesday November 24 10:00am-7:00pm.
The Holiday Bundle The Epic Race Trilogy bundles this event with the Grinch Gallop and Resolution Run. Bundle registration must occur before the Celina Turkey Trot to receive the bundle benefits; the commemorative wooden mileage plaque is available for pickup at the Resolution Run on January 1, 2027.
