The MCG White Coat Dash 5K is organized by the student doctors of the MCG Run Club to bring together students, staff, faculty, alumni, and community members in Augusta. The event takes place on August 29, 2026, at 1001 Center Street, Augusta, GA 30904.

There are separate registration categories with listed fees: AU student and graduate student registration is $20, while staff, faculty, alumni, and general public registration is $30. Registration opens July 12, 2026 and closes August 15, 2026. Fees increase by $5 for registrations made on or after August 15, 2026. Participants who register by August 10 will receive a free T-shirt.
All proceeds benefit the MCG Student Run Clinics. Those clinics are staffed by student doctors who provide free healthcare and work with patients from Augusta’s underserved communities to support healthier lifestyles.
Two sample training plans are provided with the event materials: "BEGINNER 6 Week Plan" and "Beginner to Intermediate 5k Plan | Time Based and Scaled by Effort."
