MCG White Coat Dash 5K, Augusta, SC
MCG White Coat Dash 5K is an annual 3.1 mile walk and run scheduled for August 29, 2026 at 306 Riverside Blvd in Augusta, South Carolina. The event gathers students, staff, faculty, alumni, and community members to emphasize the physical and mental health benefits of regular activity.
The main race distance is 3.1 Miles. Entry categories are AU student and graduate student, staff or faculty or alumni, and general public. Published entry fees are $25 for AU student and graduate student entries and $35 for staff, faculty, alumni, and general public entries. Race registration opens June 12, 2026 and closes August 15, 2026. Participants who register by August 10, 2026 receive a free t-shirt. Registration fees increase by $5 beginning August 15, 2026.
Volunteer roles include run support, set up, and clean up. Volunteer registration is free and closes August 21, 2026. Breakfast is provided for volunteers.
Proceeds benefit the MCG Student Run Clinics. Those clinics are operated by student doctors who provide free healthcare and support healthier lifestyles for underserved communities in Augusta. Two sample training plans are provided for prospective participants. Awards, bib packet pickup, and the race day schedule are listed as TBD.
