MCG White Coat Dash 5K
The MCG White Coat Dash 5K is an annual community running event organized by the student doctors of MCG Run Club. It takes place in North Augusta, SC at 1001 Center St on August 29, 2026. The event offers a 3.1 mile course and includes separate registration categories for AU students and graduate students, staff, faculty or alumni, and the general public. Registration opens June 9, 2026 and closes August 15, 2026; fees listed for initial registrations are $25 for the AU student and graduate student category and $35 for the other categories. Registrations completed by August 10, 2026 receive a free t-shirt, and prices increase by $5 for registrations beginning August 15, 2026.
Proceeds benefit the MCG Student Run Clinics. The clinics are staffed by student doctors who provide free healthcare to Augusta’s underserved communities and work to support healthier lifestyles. Organizers note that awards, bib packet pickup, and the race-day schedule are to be determined. Two sample training plans are provided for participants. A route map is available.
