MCG White Coat Dash 5K - Augusta, SC
The MCG White Coat Dash 5K is an annual community 5K event held on August 29, 2026, at 306 Riverside Blvd, Augusta, SC. The event brings together students, staff, faculty, alumni, and community members to highlight physical and mental health benefits associated with regular activity.
The event features a 3.1 Miles 5K Walk/Run with registration categories for AU students and graduate students, staff, faculty or alumni, and the general public. Entry fees for participant categories are listed as $25.00 for AU student and graduate student registration and $35.00 for staff, faculty, alumni, and general public registrations. A volunteer category is offered with no registration fee; volunteers assist with race-day operations including set-up, registration, hydration stations, directing runners, clean-up, and cheering on participants.
Registration opens June 12, 2026. Participant registration closes August 15, 2026; volunteer registration closes August 21, 2026. Registrations completed by August 10, 2026 receive a free t-shirt. Registration fees increase by $5 beginning August 15, 2026.
Proceeds benefit the MCG Student Run Clinics, which provide free health services to underserved communities in Augusta and support efforts to help patients adopt healthier lifestyles.
