Fort Gordon Marine Mud Challenge 2026
The Marine Mud Challenge at Fort Gordon is scheduled for September 12, 2026, at 19th St. & Barnes Ave. Presented by Five Star Nutrition, the event features a 4-mile off-road course with more than 30 obstacles, a stream crossing, rolling hills, and extensive mud sections.
The event offers competitive and non-competitive categories. Competitive categories are intended for participants who run the entire course and attempt every obstacle; competitors register individually, though crews may gather at the start line to run together. Every runner receives electronic timing.
Participants must be 13 years or older to register. Younger participants may take part only with parent or guardian approval. Volunteers are accepted; volunteers choose a role and times and a coordinator will follow up with details.
The first 800 registrants will receive event t-shirts. Entry fees vary by registration period: through June 28 the competitive fee is $45 and the non-competitive fee is $40; June 29 through July 29 the fees are $55 and $50 respectively; July 30 through September 12 the fees are $65 and $60 respectively.
