Mayor's River Walk and Run 5K
The Mayor's River Walk and Run takes place at Potter Park in Lansing, Michigan. The event utilizes the local River Trail, providing a scenic route along the river for all participants. The course is designated for both running and walking activities.

- 3.1 Miles (5K Run)
- 3.1 Miles (5K Walk)
The competitive 3.1 Miles run is professionally timed by the Michigan Running Foundation. Participants in the run receive a t-shirt, a finisher medal, and matching socks. Awards are presented to the top three finishers within each age group. Results are available during the event via digital posting.
The walking portion of the event is open to participants of all ages. Walkers receive a t-shirt and a finisher medal. Along the trail, the organizers set up various stations designed for children. Snacks are provided to all participants at the conclusion of the activities.
Packet pickup is available on specific dates prior to the event at the Foster Center or on the morning of the event at Potter Park. Registration for the run is conducted online, while walkers have the option to register on-site. Proceeds and donations from the event are directed to the Friends of the Lansing Regional Trails.
