Mayor's River Walk and Run 5K
The Mayor's River Walk and Run 5K is scheduled for June 13, 2026, at Potter Park in Lansing, Michigan. The event uses the river trail and includes two separate events that cover the same distance along the course.

Every participant receives a t-shirt, a finisher medal and snacks at the finish. The competitive run registration includes a Mayor's River Walk t-shirt, a finisher medal and matching socks; prizes are awarded to the top three finishers in each age group. Walkers register for free and receive a t-shirt and finisher medal.
Early packet pickup is available June 10 and June 11 at the Foster Center, room 109 (200 N Foster Ave, Lansing). Race day packet pickup is available at Potter Park. Registration for the 5K run is online only; walkers may register on site.
Proceeds and donations from the event support the Friends of the Lansing Regional Trails. The competitive run is professionally timed by the Michigan Running Foundation and results will be posted on the event website. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
