Event overview
The Another Clucking 5K is scheduled for Saturday, June 6, 2026, in Potterville, Michigan. This is the sixth annual running of the event and it takes place during the Potterville Gizzard Fest. The race is listed as a 5K Run/Walk with an entry fee of $20; the price increases after January 4, 2026. The event is designated as a Spring Race in the Greater Lansing Area Race Series. Timing will be provided by the Michigan Running Foundation.
Race logistics and awards
The race start/finish area is at Potterville High School, 425 E Main Street, Potterville, MI 48876. Packet pick-up includes a race T-shirt and bib; early packet pick-up is available Friday and race-day packet pick-up is Saturday. Finisher packets will include a medal, reusable bag, granola bar, electrolyte pack, cold water, cold chocolate milk, bananas, and oranges. Medals have been redesigned with three variations by finishing placement; six special gold-colored medals will be awarded to the top three male and top three female finishers, and the top three finishers in each age group will receive gold, silver, or bronze ribbons attached to medals. Participant age groups and the 2026 race route are under review and will be updated before race day.
Charities and community
Proceeds will be donated to three local partners: Canines for Change, Potterville High School Track & Cross Country teams, and CASA for Kids, Inc. The race coincides with other Gizzard Fest activities such as a pancake breakfast fundraiser, a beer tent, a classic car show, and line dancing; parking is expected to be busy on race day.
