Maxton Gudowski 5K Memorial Run/Walk
The Maxton Gudowski 5K Memorial Run/Walk is a community memorial event held on July 19, 2026 at Portman Park in the Lakeside neighborhood of Duluth, MN. The event is presented as the second annual memorial run and features a 3.1 mile running or walking distance. Race day entertainment will be provided by Sounds Unlimited.
Online registration carries a fee of $25.00. Registration opens on February 21, 2026 and closes on July 19, 2026. Proceeds from online race registration will go to Cooper Community Care, a nonprofit that provides year-round assistance including groceries, gas money, laundry support, and annual Christmas giving initiatives. There will also be an on-site raffle on race day with proceeds directed to Safe Haven Shelter & Resource Center.
