The Chester Rim 5K is a trail running event held in Chester Park in Duluth, Minnesota on December 6, 2025. Series and race format
The race is part of the Duluth Winter Trailrunning Series, a set of four winter trail races that take place primarily on packed snow trails used by fat bikes and other multi-use users. The series includes events at Chester Park, Lester Park, Hartley Park (a 10K), and a 4-hour endurance event called the Frozen 4 Hour. Two of the series races offer snowshoe and "no shoe" (trail running) divisions. Registration for all four races is handled together, with a discount applied when paying for the full series, and a special award is offered to runners who finish all four races.
