Mattapoisett Mother's Day 5K
The Mattapoisett Mother's Day 5K is a community 5K run and walk held on May 10, 2026 at the Mattapoisett Town Wharf, 8 Water Street, Mattapoisett, MA 02739. The course begins and ends on the water at the wharf and passes near Ned's Point lighthouse, offering views of Buzzards Bay and Mattapoisett Harbor around the halfway mark.
Proceeds from the event will be donated to support postpartum mothers on the South Coast. Registration opens February 6, 2026 and closes May 10, 2026; the registration fee is $40. Race t-shirts are provided to participants who register on or before April 13.
Medals are awarded to the top three finishers in each age category and there is a special stroller division. Age categories include 10 and Under; 11 to 19 Male and Female; 20 to 29 Male and Female; 30 to 39 Male and Female; 40 to 49 Male and Female; 50 to 59 Male and Female; and 60 Plus Male and Female. Children seated in strollers do not need to be registered; only those participating on foot must be registered.
