8th Annual Cinco de Mayo 5K : Wareham, MA
The 8th Annual Cinco de Mayo 5K takes place on Sunday, May 3, 2026, at 150 Tihonet Road in Wareham, Massachusetts. The event is organized to support the Kiwanis Club of Bourne-Wareham Charitable Foundation; all proceeds benefit local Bourne and Wareham community programs.
The course covers a 5K distance and is routed almost entirely on well groomed, unpaved trails around the cranberry bogs at AD Makepeace. Walkers are welcome. Running strollers should start at the back of the field. Dogs are not permitted.
Awards are given to the overall 1st, 2nd and 3rd male and female finishers, plus 1st place male and female in standard age groups including 10 and under, 11 to 15, 16 to 19, 20 to 29, 30 to 39, 40 to 49, 50 to 59, 60 to 69, 70 to 79, and 80 plus. The deadline to guarantee a race t-shirt is the end of day Sunday, April 19.
