Event Details
The 8th Annual Cinco de Mayo 5K takes place on May 3, 2026. The event is located at 150 Tihonet Road in Wareham, Massachusetts.
Beneficiary and Course
The event supports the Kiwanis Club of Bourne-Wareham Charitable Foundation, with proceeds benefiting local community programs in Bourne and Wareham. The course is a 5K route on well-groomed, unpaved trails around the cranberry bogs at the AD Makepeace property.
Participant Information
Walkers are welcome. Running strollers are permitted but are asked to start at the back of the group. Dogs are not allowed on the course.
Awards
Awards are given to the overall 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place male and female finishers. Additional awards are given to the 1st place male and female in several age groups: 10 & under, 11-15, 16-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70-79, and 80+.
Registration
Registration is tiered by age, with different fees for Adults (19+), Students (11-18), Children (10 & under), and Seniors (70+). Prices increase on May 2, 2026. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
