Cape Cod Trail Race
The Cape Cod Trail Race takes place on May 2, 2027 at the Crane Wildlife Management Area in East Falmouth, Massachusetts. The event uses a roughly 10K loop that may be run once, twice, or three times to provide the following distances:
- 10K
- 20K
- 30K
The course is 100% trail with no paved roads. The first and last roughly two miles of the loop run through fields and are relatively fast for trail terrain. The middle portion is more single-track, winding, hilly, and technical. Because of trail conditions, distances are approximate and routes may change at short notice. The course is not closed to the public; participants may encounter bikers, hikers, and horseback riders and should share the trails.
There are three aid stations: at the start/finish and at approximately miles 1.75 and 4.5. Aid stations will offer water and an electrolyte drink; the station near mile 1.75 may be unmanned on later laps. This is a cupless event, so participants must carry their own hydration. Some food may be available at the start/finish aid station. The 30K has a five-hour finish limit and runners must begin their final lap before the event cutoff time.
