Matchmakers & Mimosas 5K : Ott Vineyards
The Matchmakers & Mimosas 5K takes place on February 21, 2026 at Ott Vineyards & Winery, 230 Henry Evans Rd, Ellijay, GA 30536. The event includes the following options:
- 5K
- Sip & Stroll (includes event goodies, no running required)
- Virtual 5K
Every participant registered by February 4 is guaranteed race swag in their size while supplies last. Registered finishers receive a Valentine-themed race shirt, a custom finisher medal, and a complimentary mimosa; participants under 21 will be offered juice and water instead of alcoholic beverages.
Logistics, course and awards
Chip timing will be used. The course is routed in and around the vineyards and includes grass and cross-country style terrain. Water stations will be available approximately every 1.5 miles. Packet pickup is handled on race morning, typically beginning one hour before the race.
Awards are presented to top finishers and by age group: Top 3 overall male and female; Top 3 Masters (40+), Grand Master (50+), Senior Master (60+); and Top 3 in five-year age groups from 10 & under through 80+. The virtual 5K allows participants to run at a time and place of their choice, submit results by the end of race day, and receive virtual race packages (shipping within the continental US).
