Cairn View Winery 5K
The Cairn View Winery 5K takes place on December 5, 2026, at Cairn View Winery, 299 Happy Trails Way, Jasper, GA 30143. The event is the eighth annual running of the race and uses rural roads around the winery, many of which are gravel. The course includes one creek crossing; a temporary bridge will be provided so participants can avoid getting shoes wet.
The finish area is a wine garden with live music and on-site food and beverages. The event includes one 5 oz wine pour for participants 21 and over and a grilled cheese with tomato soup. Additional wine and beer are available for purchase. All finishers receive a custom Cairn medal and a long sleeve t-shirt. There are raffle prizes and photography will be available online at no charge.
Proceeds from the event will support the Good Samaritan Health and Wellness Center. The event is held rain or shine, with indoor space and outside tents available in case of rain. Parking is allowed in the winery parking lot. Race registration opens July 16, 2026 and closes November 1, 2026; the registration fee is $35.00. T-shirt and bib pick-up and day-of race registration are available at the venue. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
