Matawan Borough 5K Turkey Trot & Fitness Walk
The Matawan Borough 5K Turkey Trot & Fitness Walk is the 20th annual certified 5K road event held in Matawan, New Jersey. The race and fitness walk begin and end on Main Street near the event address at 6 South Street, Matawan 07747. The event includes both timed running and a fitness walk option.
Runners registered by Wednesday, November 5 are guaranteed a race shirt; shirts for later registrations are available while supplies last. Early packet pickup is scheduled for Friday, November 28 at the Matawan Borough Municipal and Community Center, 201 Broad Street, with an additional pickup opportunity noted on race day.
Awards are presented at the race medal table as winners are identified. Prize categories include the top three overall male and female finishers and the top three male and female runners in each age group. Age groups are 10 and under, 11-14, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70-74, 75-79, and 80 and over. No duplicate awards are given.
