Matawan Borough 20th Annual 5K Turkey Trot & Fitness Walk
The Matawan Borough 20th Annual 5K Turkey Trot & Fitness Walk is a certified 5K running race and fitness walk held in Matawan, New Jersey on November 28, 2026. The course begins and finishes on Main Street and the event is organized as both a timed race and an untimed fitness walk.
Early packet pickup is scheduled the day before the race at the Matawan Borough Municipal and Community Center, 201 Broad Street, Matawan, NJ 07747; additional packet pickup is available on the morning of the event. Registrations open on September 23, 2026. Runners registered by November 12 are guaranteed a race shirt; shirts for later registrants are available while supplies last.
Awards are presented at the race medal table as winners are identified. Prizes include top three overall male and female finishers and top three male and female finishers in each age group. Age divisions run from 10 and under through 80 and over, and duplicate awards are not given. Net proceeds support local parks, beautification projects, and recreation programs.
