Community 5K and Kids Mile Fundraiser
This is the sixth annual community 5K fundraiser held at Webster Park, 255 Holt Road, Webster, NY 14580. The event includes an in-person 5K run/walk and a children’s 1 mile run/walk, with virtual options available for both distances. Events are timed; all participants receive medals and winners in each division receive trophies. Each event offers a standard package with a medal and a deluxe package that includes a medal and an event shirt. Recent editions of the event have raised over $25,000 for The Taekwondo Fund, and the 2026 event supports Girls on the Run.
The children’s 1 mile is aimed at younger participants, roughly ages 4 to 12, and is a competitive, timed mile with age-level awards. The course is a large open grass field with event staff present; parents may view and assist children on the course. Safety reminders for the kids course include passing without pushing, awareness of the grass surface, and wearing appropriate sports gear such as sneakers.
