Marshfield St. Patrick's Day 5k : March 13, 2027
The Marshfield St. Patrick's Day 5k is the 17th annual running event that benefits the Marshfield Education Foundation. The race uses a flat, fast, USATF certified ocean 5K course along the South Shore and brings together 4,000 runners, walkers and crawlers.
Prizes are offered for overall finishers and course records: cash prizes of $683, $250 and $100 for the top three overall male and female, plus $317 toward a new male or female course record, for a total of $1,000 available for a record performance. Current course records are listed as male 14:39 and female 16:13. Age group awards are given first through third place.
Registration opens on 9/17/26 and registering early is noted as the way to receive the long sleeve race shirt. The event encourages participants to wear green, costumes or race shirts. Finish parties take place at the pubs and restaurants of Brant Rock. Volunteer opportunities are available to support event operations.
