Hingham Turkey Trot
The Hingham Turkey Trot takes place on November 27, 2025, in Hingham, MA at 17 Union Street. The event is a Thanksgiving Day 5K road race that benefits the Hingham High School Boys and Girls Cross-Country and Track & Field programs. Proceeds go to the Hingham High School XC/Track Boosters to help cover coaches' salaries, track meet timing, equipment, and similar expenses. Awards are given to the top three male and female finishers overall and to the top three male and female finishers in each age group: 1-4, 5-9, 10-13, 14-17, 18-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70+.

Logistics and facilities
Entry prices listed are $35 for the 5K, $25 for the 5K (Under 18), and $30 for the Virtual 5K. An additional $5 fee applies to registrations on or after November 20, 2025. Registration for the Virtual 5K ends on November 27, 2025. Bib and shirt pickup is at the Hingham High School Cafeteria with sessions on Tuesday (3:00pm-7:00pm), Wednesday (12:00pm-6:00pm), and Thursday (6:00am-7:15am). Shirts use unisex sizing and run slightly large.
Parking is available at Hingham High School (start), Haley Field, Town Hall, East Elementary School, and Hingham Public Library. A shuttle operates from South Shore Baptist Church (578 Main Street) to the start and returns after the race; there is no parking allowed in the rear lot of Hingham High School. Walkers are welcome; running strollers should start in the back. Dogs are not allowed on the race course; arrangements for trained service animals must be made with the organizers.
