10th Annual Running of the Pilgrims 5K
The event is a community 5K road run held in Plymouth on Thursday, November 26, 2026. The start area is at Plymouth Rock / DCR Pilgrim Memorial State Park along Water Street.
Registration is online only; no paper registration will be available at pre-race pickup or on race day. Fees vary by age category and by registration deadline (adult, student, senior, youth tiers). Bib pickup is available before the race at Marathon Sports, 9 Court Street, Plymouth, and on race day at the starting line.
Walkers are welcome. Running strollers should start toward the back. Dogs are not allowed on the course. There is no water stop on the route; water will be available at the finish line. Shirt orders had a deadline of November 1; unclaimed shirts at the start will be given out at the finish and shirts will not be mailed.
Water Street from Union Street to Brewster Street will be closed to traffic on race day and no parking is permitted in that area. Parking in Plymouth follows local paid parking rules; meters require payment between 9am and 7pm during paid season, including holidays.
There will be no awards ceremony on race day. Overall and age-group awards (1st–3rd overall male and female; 1st–3rd in standard age divisions from 10 & under through 80+) can be picked up after the holiday at Marathon Sports in Plymouth, with a store discount offered to award recipients when they collect their prize.
Proceeds from the race support local organizations, including the South Shore Community Action Council food pantry program and the Plymouth Family Resource Center.
