Running of the Pilgrims 5K
The 10th Running of the Pilgrims is a 5K held in Plymouth on Thursday, November 26, 2026. Registration is online only and is offered in age-based categories: Adult (19+), Student (11-18), Seniors (70+), and Youth (0-10). Fees vary by registration date.
Pre-race bib pickup is available at Marathon Sports, 9 Court Street, Plymouth. Race day bib pickup is at the starting area near Plymouth Rock and the Pilgrim Memorial State Park on Water Street. There will be no paper registration at pre-race pickup or on race day.
Shirt orders have a deadline of Sunday, November 1 at 11:59 pm; shirts not picked up before the race begins will be distributed at the finish line. There will be no awards ceremony on race day; winners may collect awards after the holiday at Marathon Sports in Plymouth. Awards are given 1st through 3rd overall male and female and by age groups from 10 and under through 80 plus. Award pickup at the Plymouth store includes a 15% in-store discount for winners, excluding electronics.
Course logistics note that Water Street from Union Street to Brewster Street will be closed to traffic on race day and no parking is allowed in that area. There is no water stop on the course; water will be available at the finish. Walkers are welcome, running strollers should start in the back, and dogs are not allowed.
