The Braintree High School Thanksgiving Day Turkey Trot is a 25th annual 5K run/walk held on Thursday, November 27, 2025, at Braintree High School, 128 Town Street, Braintree, MA 02184. Proceeds support the school athletic program. A course map is available via MapMyRun.
Registration and awards
Registration opens October 1, 2025. Fee tiers and windows listed by the organizer include: early sign-up ($25) from October 10 through October 31; general registration ($30) from November 1 through November 15; late online registration ($35) from November 16 through November 27; and in-person registration ($50) on November 27 and November 28. The organizer notes a T-shirt deadline for registrations received by November 15. Early bib pickup is scheduled in the BHS cafeteria on Wednesday, November 27.
Awards include gift certificates to the top three male and top three female finishers, medals for the top three male and female finishers in each age group (1-12; 13-19; 20-29; 30-39; 40-49; 50-59; 60-69; 70+), and printable finisher certificates posted on the race website after results are posted.
