Marlborough St. Vincent de Paul Friends of the Poor Walk
The Society of St. Vincent de Paul Conferences of Immaculate Conception and St. Matthias are organizing a community fundraising walk in Marlborough to support neighbors in need. The event features a 3 mile walk along the Assabet River Rail Trail. Walkers may complete the full distance or shorter portions according to preference. The meeting location is Immaculate Conception Meehan Hall, 119 Washington St., Marlborough, MA 01752. Registration is free; registration opens July 1, 2026 and closes September 25, 2026. Extra registration forms will be available at walker registration on the day of the walk.
The walk raises funds and awareness to assist local individuals and families with direct needs such as food, clothing, rent, and utility bills. Support is provided regardless of race, religion, or background. Walkers are encouraged to make personal donations and to collect pledges from supporters; online pledges are directed to the Conference chosen by each walker.
