Marlborough St. Vincent de Paul Friends of the Poor Walk 2026
The Society of St. Vincent de Paul Conferences of Immaculate Conception and St. Matthias organize a community fundraising walk in Marlborough to support neighbors facing economic need. The event raises awareness and collects funds for individuals and families served by local conferences.
The walk follows the Assabet River Rail Trail. Participants may walk the full 3 miles or a shorter distance according to preference. The gathering location is Immaculate Conception Meehan Hall, 119 Washington St., Marlborough, MA 01752. Registration is free and is open from July 1, 2026 through September 25, 2026. Extra registration forms will be available at on-site registration the day of the walk.
Walkers are encouraged to make a personal donation and to collect pledges from family, friends, and neighbors. Online pledges are directed to the conference chosen by each walker. Participants may represent either the Immaculate Conception or St. Matthias conferences, or both, as they contribute to community relief efforts and shared fundraising goals.
