2026 Barefoot Half Marathon
The Barefoot Half Marathon is a long-distance running event organized by Nap Briye Inc. The 2026 edition marks the fifth year of the race, which takes place on the Sunday before Labor Day in Shrewsbury, Massachusetts. The primary distance offered is:

The course is a point-to-point route that begins at the Sterling Town Hall and ends at the Shrewsbury High School track field. Participants have the unique option to complete the course either while wearing shoes or by running barefoot. In addition to the main race, the event schedule includes an Able Walk held later in the morning.
Logistics are provided for participants parking at the finish line, with bus transportation available to transport runners from Shrewsbury High School to the starting point in Sterling. Bib pickup is organized for the Saturday prior to the event at the Shrewsbury High School track field, or on the morning of the race itself. The event also incorporates fundraising opportunities through Nap Briye Inc., with options for participants to engage in pledging and donations.
