Market Street Run for Blue - Philadelphia
The Market Street Run for Blue is scheduled for Sunday, October 18, 2026 in Philadelphia, PA. The event starts and finishes at Front and Dock Streets next to the Philadelphia Marriott Old City and is organized as an annual fundraiser for the Philadelphia Police Foundation.
The event offers these distance options:
- 5 Miles run
- 3 Miles walk
The course begins in historic Old City near the Delaware River, follows Market Street about 2.5 miles toward 30th Street Station by the Schuylkill River, then returns to the finish. Walkers turn around at City Hall and loop back to the finish line. Updates to the finish location have been made due to construction.
The event supports community engagement with the Philadelphia Police Department and raises funds for the Philadelphia Police Foundation. Amenities and logistics include a performance long sleeve dri-fit race shirt for paid participants while supplies last, and the option to purchase a shirt to be mailed. Finisher medals are not guaranteed for registrations after September 15.
Bib and shirt pick up will take place inside the Old City Marriott on Friday, October 16 (11:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.), Saturday, October 17 (9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.), and Sunday morning race day (6:30 to 7:30 a.m.). Monetary awards will be given to the top three overall male and female runners, with medals for top three male and female runners in multiple age brackets.
