Melissa's Brigade 5K Run (or walk)
The Melissa's Brigade 5K Run and 1 Mile Walk is a community event held at Rose Tree County Park in Media, Pennsylvania. This annual event supports the mission of providing comfort care packages to individuals undergoing cancer treatment in Mercer County, New Jersey. Participants have the option to join the physical race at the park or participate as a virtual walker from any location.

- 1 mile walk
The course takes runners and walkers through the grounds of Rose Tree County Park. Registration includes a guaranteed event t-shirt for those who sign up early. For those who register on the day of the event, the registration period opens 60 minutes before the race begins.
All proceeds from the event go toward supporting the Mercer County division of the organization. The initiative was inspired by a former recipient of a comfort care package who became an advocate for the cause.
