Scoogië's Oktoberfest 5k, 5 Miler, 2 Mile Jog/Walk & Kids Root Beer Run
Scoogië's Oktoberfest is a community event on October 3, 2026 at Ambler Yards / Well Crafted Beer Company, 300 Brookside Avenue, Ambler, PA. The event offers multiple running and walking distances and family-oriented activities.

Participants receive a finisher's medal and a commemorative Scoogië's Oktoberfest t-shirt. T-shirt deadline is September 1. Well Crafted Beer Company will provide one complimentary beer at the finish line for participants aged 21 and over; IDs will be checked. Beer will also be available for purchase and the host brewery will host an after party near the start/finish area.
Race amenities and atmosphere include festive music, yard games, food trucks, a costume contest, and an awards ceremony with age group and overall awards. The course runs through Penn-Ambler Park, along Brights Lane, and onto the Penllyn Pike and Dager Road Trails, both part of the Lower Gwynedd Township trail system.
The event is limited to 800 runners; registration will close once that limit is reached. The event is held rain or shine. Organizers reserve the right to revise or cancel the race due to emergency or weather; no refunds, transfers, or credits will be issued.
