Marietta Shamrock Shuffle 5K
The Marietta Shamrock Shuffle 5K is the tenth annual event held on March 21, 2026 on The Square in Marietta, GA. The event features an in-person 5K and a Phantom Runner option, and is organized to raise funds for the Marietta Police Athletic League (PAL) to support youth sports, recreation and education programs serving school-aged youth in Marietta and Cobb County.
The program includes a designated "Memorial Mile of Celebration" from mile marker 1 to mile marker 2 where registered "In Memory Of" teams can run in honor of loved ones. Teams that register 25 or more members by February 14 will have the honored name added to the souvenir race shirt and receive memorial wristbands. The event also offers St. Patrick's Day themed costume contests with prize categories such as Most spirited St. Patty's Kids and Best Wearin' O the Green, plus awards for overall and age group winners.
Professional timing with chip technology is used and the race is noted as a Peachtree Qualifier. Advance packet pick up is scheduled at the Hugh L. Grogan Community Center on Thursday, March 19 at 510 Lawrence Street NE.
