Overview
The event is a 5k fun run and walk taking place in Niceville, Florida. It is the 3rd annual edition and is scheduled for February 14, 2026. Proceeds from the event benefit the Christ Our Redeemer (COR) Building Community Fund, which supports parish programs like a Thanksgiving Food Drive, Senior Meals, Bible Studies, and Youth Activities.
Event Details
The main event is a 5k run/walk. There is also a separate Children's Fun Run. A new feature for this year is a Partner Challenge, where participants pair up as a team. The course is described as flat, and strollers are welcome. Participants are encouraged to wear Mardi Gras-inspired costumes.
Schedule and Registration
The 5k run/walk starts at 9:00 AM. A festival begins at approximately 9:15 AM and continues throughout the morning. The Children's Fun Run is at 10:00 AM, and an awards ceremony follows at 10:30 AM.
Early registration by January 18 guarantees a t-shirt and costs $35 for the 5k and $65 for the Partner Challenge (covering both participants). After that date, registration increases to $40 for the 5k and $75 for the challenge, with no shirt guaranteed. The Children's Fun Run costs $10 and includes a finisher certificate.
Packet pick-up is available on Friday, February 13, from 4:00 to 6:00 PM at Christ Our Redeemer.
Included Perks and Awards
All 5k and Partner Challenge participants receive 5 complimentary festival tokens and 1 drink ticket. The festival features lively music, food trucks, a gift card raffle, and games provided by Cub Scouts Pack 553 and COR ministries.
Awards are presented to the Top Female and Top Male in each age category: Overall; 10 & Under; 11-14; 15-19; 20–29; 30–39; 40–49; 50–59; 60–69; 70-79; and 80+.
