Event overview
The Mardi Gras 5k Fun Run & Walk takes place in Niceville, FL on February 14, 2026. The event includes a 5k, a Children's Fun Run, and a Partner Challenge for two-person teams. The course is flat, and strollers are welcome. Mardi Gras inspired costumes are encouraged. A festival on site will feature lively music, food trucks, a gift card raffle, and games provided by Cub Scouts Pack 553, COR ministries, and families.
Registration, fees and packet pick-up
Early registration by January 18 guarantees a t-shirt. Early fees: 5k $35; Partner Challenge $65 (covers both participants). After January 18 fees: 5k $40; Partner Challenge $75. Day-of registration is available but not recommended. The Kids Fun Run fee is $10 and includes a finisher certificate. Packet pick-up is scheduled for February 13 at Christ Our Redeemer.
What participants receive and awards
All 5k and Partner Challenge participants receive five festival tokens and one drink ticket. Awards are presented to the top female and top male in each category: Overall, 7–19, 20–29, 30–39, 40–49, 50–59, 60–69, and 70+. Additional awards go to the top three Partner Challenge teams by combined time. Proceeds benefit the COR Building Community Fund and support programs such as a Thanksgiving food drive, senior meals, Bible studies, youth activities, and community gatherings.
