Mardi Gras 10K/5K
The Mardi Gras 10K/5K takes place on February 7, 2026 in Metairie, Louisiana at 3300 Veterans Memorial Blvd. The event is held in partnership with Jefferson Parish's Family Gras. The program includes multiple race options and a kids event:

Race details and extras
Entry fees listed on the event page are $45 for the 10K, $35 for the 5K, and $20 for the Kids Half Mile, with prices increasing after December 18, 2025. NOTC members receive a $5 entry discount. A NOTC Family registration option is offered with a price range of $65 to $75. All registered participants receive a finisher medal and a race shirt. Packet pickup is provided (check the event for specifics). The event includes a largest team competition and a Mardi Gras Milers team discount structure. Additional event features at Family Gras include free admission to Family Gras after the race, food such as king cake, beer for ages 21 and older, live music, a costume contest, award presentations, and a Mardi Gras parade.
