The Marblehead Festival of Arts Road Races are held in Marblehead, Massachusetts. The event offers multiple distances, including in-person and virtual options.

Course and Location
All three in-person races share a common start line at the Post Office on Smith Street. The finish line for all races is at Marblehead High School. The 5K route goes down Atlantic Avenue to Seaview, then right onto Humphrey Street. The 10K route turns left onto Atlantic Avenue and loops around the Neck. The 1-mile loop uses Atlantic Avenue, the rail-trail, and goes around the high school. Participants gather at Marblehead High School before the races and can walk to the start line.
Registration and Fees
Registration fees support the festival's fundraising efforts and arts scholarships in the community. Early bird pricing is available until May 17, 2026. Runners who register by June 1 receive a performance-wicking race t-shirt. There is no registration fee for runners under 10 years old. An on-site Festival of Arts logo store will sell festival shirts, gear, and glassware.
Awards
The 1st and 2nd place finishers in each age division for the 5K and 10K receive awards. All runners aged 10 and under who complete the 1-mile fun run also receive an award. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
