Event Overview

Course Details
The course is a 5K (5-kilometer) route for running and walking. It begins with a loop through downtown Main Street in Winthrop. Most of the course then follows the eastern shore of Maranacook Lake.
Logistics and Registration
The event starts and finishes at the American Legion building at 117 Bowdoin Street in Winthrop, Maine. Online registration is open until 3:00 pm EST on the day before the race. Race-day registration is available on-site, but it may be limited and is not guaranteed. The registration fee is $40. Participants are encouraged to register in advance. A race T-shirt is guaranteed for registrations received by a specific date in mid-June.
Awards
Awards are given to the first-place finishers for both men and women in multiple age groups. Age groups include 10 and under, 11-14, 15-18, 19-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, and 70 and over.
Other Information
Parking is not allowed along the race route. Parking attendants will direct participants and spectators to designated parking areas. Funds raised support the preservation of the local watershed. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
