Old Hallowell Day Road Race
The Old Hallowell Day Road Race is scheduled for July 18, 2026 in Hallowell, Maine, with activities centered at Vaughn Field. The event includes a main road race and a separate youth run around the field during the community day.
Pre-registration is required and walk-in registration is not available. Registrations must be completed by midnight on July 14. Registration fees for the 5K are $30 for entries made before July 3 and $40 for entries made from July 4 until the registration deadline. T-shirts are available only to participants who register by July 3. Donations to support participants and the future of the OHD 5K are accepted through July 14.
The event specifies that the 5K is a running race only; walking the course is prohibited. Prizes will be awarded to overall and age group winners in Female, Male and Non-Binary divisions. The 5K route starts and finishes at Vaughn Field, a short walk from the Old Hallowell Day parade and downtown activities. The organizers note that migrating sturgeon in the Kennebec River are visible in the area.
