North Oaks & Middendorf's Manchac Run
North Oaks & Middendorf's Manchac Run is a road running event held at Middendorf's Seafood Restaurant in Manchac, Akers, Louisiana on November 7, 2026. The event offers multiple distance options and benefits the North Oaks Foundation, a 501(c)(3) supporting North Oaks Health System.

All official finishers receive a custom commemorative medallion. Division awards are presented on race day for a range of categories including Overall Open, Masters, Grand Masters, Senior, Legends, Youth, and Race Walker across the distances. Race walkers must check in at the Race Walker Information table to be eligible for awards. Varsity Sports and Perfectly Fit Performance Sports sponsor specific awards.
Packet pickup includes a T-shirt and a race number bib with an affixed timing chip and is available at two pre-race locations in New Orleans and Hammond and at the race site on event day. Parking is available in Middendorf's lots and nearby locations along US 51.
Aid stations are placed on course with Kentwood Spring Water, Gatorade, and portable toilets at six locations. The course includes an out-and-back segment that crosses a bridge. Registered entrants are provided Middendorf's Famous Thin Fried Catfish plate and other refreshments such as water, sports drink, beer, soft drinks, fruit, and bakery items.
Entry fees follow a staged schedule with kickoff pricing through March 31, reduced rates for youth and seniors, and all fees non-refundable. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
