Frigid Beast Feast
The event takes place at Tickfaw State Park near Springfield, LA, and offers multiple trail distances over a multi day schedule. The main trail described is the River Trail, a three mile loop that runs along the river and passes through swamp and forest ecosystems. The course description notes that poisonous snakes and alligators may be on or near the trail.
Two aid stations are provided on the course. A midpoint unmanned aid station will offer water, electrolytes, snacks, and ice. The main aid station at the start and finish will include ice, electrolyte water, soda, snacks, and fully cooked food.
Lodging availability is listed at the park and includes improved and unimproved campsites and cabins or group camp space. Campsite counts are provided and cabins or group camp units include basic cookware, utensils, dinnerware, silverware, towels, and linens; visitors are expected to bring their own food and personal supplies.
Race day food items noted for the start and finish area include bacon, peanut butter and jelly, chips, cookies, quesadillas, grilled cheese, pickles, candy, crackers, potatoes, gummies, a variety of sodas, water, ice, and electrolytes. Vegan options are mentioned and finish meals are to be determined.

Awards and event items include custom plaques for the top three male and female finishers, buckles for the 150, 102, and 75 mile events, medals for shorter distances, and event swag such as hoodies, beanies, runner lights, and speed cups.
