The Hammond Rotary Shamrock Run takes place on Saturday, March 21, 2026, at the Renaissance Festival grounds in Hammond, Louisiana (46468 River Rd, Hammond, LA 70401). The event is organized by the Hammond Rotary Club and includes multiple race distances.

Entry fees listed on the event page are $25 for the 5K and 10K, and $10 for the 1 Mile. T-shirts are optional; registrants are advised to register early to increase the chance of obtaining a desired size.
Course, awards and logistics
The 5K and 10K courses route on roads around the festival, circle a small lake, and pass through the Renaissance Village. Walkers are permitted in the 1 Mile and the 5K; walkers are not permitted in the 10K. Finisher medals are provided for all 5K and 10K participants. Awards include top three overall male and female in the 5K and 10K, first place male and female in the 1 Mile, first place per age group for the 5K and 10K, and an additional 80+ age group for the 5K only. Special awards include Best Costume, Biggest Team, a "Beat the Leprechaun" challenge in the 10K, and a prize for the Biggest Fundraising Team. Packet pick-up is available the Thursday before the race at a local insurance office (304 Old Covington Hwy, Hammond, LA 70403); packets and shirts are also available on race morning.
