MammothMarch Georgia 2026
MammothMarch Georgia is a 20 mile hiking event held on October 24, 2026, at Dauset Trails Nature Center and Indian Springs State Park near Jackson, Georgia. The route uses trails in the Dauset system and Indian Springs, including Browniee Trail, Lake Clark Loop, Sandy Creek Trail, and a back-and-forth stretch along the Indian Springs Multi-Use Trail. The final route will be published about two weeks before the event.
Terrain is mainly unpaved hiking trails, dirt tracks, gravel roads, and forest floor, with total elevation gain around 1,300 ft. Aid and refreshment stations are positioned approximately every 5 to 7 miles and provide toilets, food, and drinks such as water, energy drinks, electrolytes, fruit, bars, and sandwiches; these refreshments are included with registration. Complimentary parking is available on site.
There is no official timekeeping; participants who complete the full distance receive a finisher medal and a personalized certificate. Participants who stop early receive a certificate showing mileage covered. MammothMarch Hiking Passes will be available for new participants and returning participants may present existing passes to collect 2026 stamps. Merchandise ordered during registration will be available for pick up on event day, while items from the official online store may be shipped.
