MammothMarch Georgia 2026
MammothMarch returns to Georgia on Saturday, October 24, 2026, hosted at Dauset Trails Nature Center in Jackson, GA, with Indian Springs State Park and the Dauset Trail system co-hosting the route. The event follows a sold-out premiere in fall 2025.
The route covers 20 miles, traversing sections of the Dauset Trail system and Indian Springs State Park, including Browniee Trail, Lake Clark Loop, Sandy Creek Trail, and a back-and-forth stretch along the Indian Springs Multi Use trail. Total elevation gain is around 1,300 ft. Terrain includes mainly unpaved hiking trails, dirt trails, gravel roads, and forest floor. The final route will be published roughly two weeks before the event.
There is no formal timekeeping. Participants who complete the distance receive a finisher medal and a personalized certificate. Those who stop early receive a certificate stating mileage covered. Aid and refreshment stations are positioned approximately every 5 to 7 miles and provide toilets, food, and drinks such as water, energy drinks, electrolytes, fruit, cereal or protein bars, and PBJ sandwiches; these refreshments are included with registration.
Complimentary parking is available on site. Participants can access event merchandise at an event store for pick up on race day, and an official online shop offers items that can be shipped. MammothMarch Hiking Passes will be available for new participants and stamps will be issued for returning participants. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
