The Bootlegger 100 Mile Trail Race
The Bootlegger is a 100 mile trail race held in Flovilla, GA and presented by Revolution Running. The course is a 12.5 mile loop that each 100 mile entrant must complete eight times, producing roughly 9000 feet of total elevation gain. The route uses gently rolling single track and offers easy crew access.
There are two well stocked aid stations on the loop. Aid stations provide standard snacks and drinks, and hot food will be available in the evening. All entrants receive a participant shirt and a BOCO backpack. All finishers of the 100 mile distance receive a buckle. Runners who accumulate 400 miles across any race distances earn an embroidered jacket with their name.
The event is a Western States qualifying race for 2027. An entry into the 2028 Western States will be raffled among finishers of the 2027 Bootlegger who are present at the race conclusion. Entry is limited to runners who have completed an official 50K race or who have completed at least 50 miles on the Bootlegger course prior to registering.
A downloadable GPX file is available and is compatible with Garmin, Apple Watch apps, and COROS or Suunto device imports. The race benefits Dauset Trails Nature Center and Indian Springs State Park.
