The Bootlegger 100 Mile Trail Race
The Bootlegger is a trail event held in Flovilla, GA, organized by Revolution Running Co. The course uses a roughly 12.5 mile loop of gently rolling single track that 100 mile runners repeat eight times. The full 100 mile course accumulates about 9,000 feet of elevation gain, roughly a little over 1,000 feet per loop.
There are two well stocked aid stations on the loop, with hot food available in the evening. The route has easy crew access. A GPX file for the course is provided for use with common devices and apps.
The event includes multiple distances:
- 100 Mile
- 50 Mile
- 12.5 Mile
All runners receive event apparel and a BOCO backpack. All 100 mile finishers earn a buckle. Participants who complete 400 miles across event distances earn an embroidered jacket with their name. The 50 mile and 12.5 mile events are limited to 50 runners each; finishers receive a t-shirt, a unique bag, and a medal.
Entry requires prior completion of an official 50K or at least 50 miles on the Bootlegger course. Refunds or deferrals are available at 100% until three months before the race; no refunds or deferrals after that point. The event benefits Dauset Trails Nature Center and Indian Springs State Park.
