Huff N' Puff Trail Races, Jackson GA
The Huff N' Puff Trail Races take place on January 16, 2027 at Dauset Trails near 360 Mount Vernon Church Rd, Jackson, GA. Organizers are Revolution Running Co. The event offers three distances on trail terrain: a marathon, a half marathon, and a 5K.
The marathon and half marathon use the same course, with the marathon run twice. The courses are composed mostly of single track trails with rolling hills, exposed roots, rocks, and several technical sections. Runners follow routes that run beside creeks and through wooded areas where wildlife such as deer and raccoons may be seen. The race is cupless; marathon and half marathon participants are required to carry a hand held or a hydration pack. Marathoners have crew access at the halfway point and may leave a drop bag. The marathon has a nine hour time limit.
Aid and post-race provisions are specified: the half marathon passes a single aid station at roughly mile 4 and 9.5, and the marathon passes two separate aid stations at approximately mile 4, 9.5, 13.1, 17, and 23. Post-race warm food and beverages are provided. All entrants receive a shirt and all finishers in marathon, half and 5K receive a finisher medal. First place overall male and female awards are given for each distance; there are no age group awards. To guarantee a shirt, registration must be completed by January 1.
