About the race
The Huff N' Puff Trail Races take place in Jackson, GA on January 16, 2027, at 360 Mount Vernon Church Rd. The event, organized by Revolution Running Co., includes three distances:
- Marathon
- Half Marathon
- 5K
The marathon and half marathon use mostly single track trails with rolling hills, roots, rocks and several technical sections. The route runs beside creeks and may pass through areas with local wildlife. The marathon and half share the same course; marathoners run the loop twice. The marathon course provides crew access at the halfway point and allows a drop bag.
Aid and equipment rules: the half marathon has one aid station passed at mile 4 and again at mile 9.5. The marathon has two separate aid stations passed at miles 4, 9.5, 13.1, 17, and 23. The half and full marathon require runners to carry a handheld or pack for hydration. This is a cupless race. The marathon has a nine hour time limit.
Post race provisions include beverages and warm food. All participants receive a t shirt and finishers in the marathon half and 5K receive a medal. First overall male and female awards are given for each distance; there are no age group awards. Registration closes January 13 at 11:59 PM ET and registering by January 1 guarantees a shirt.
