Turkey Trot of McDonough
The Turkey Trot of McDonough is a community running event on November 26, 2026, held at 198 S Point Blvd, Mcdonough, GA 30253. The event benefits the Special Olympics of Henry County.
Race distances offered:
- 5K - $25; opens May 1, closes May 9, 2026.
- 1 Mile - $20; opens May 1, closes November 14, 2026.
Registrations include a chip timed race bib and eligibility for age group awards. A commemorative race T-shirt is included for participants who register before noon on November 14, 2026; a limited number of extra shirts may be available later but are not guaranteed.
Packet pickup options are provided. Early packet pickup is scheduled for Tuesday, November 25, with time and location to be determined. Race day packet pickup is at the Academy Sports parking lot near the registration tent.
Awards include medals presented to the top three finishers in each age group and recognition for overall and masters winners. Age group brackets are listed from 14 and under through 75 plus.
